On Saturday, 25th October 2003, Kevin Chan was awarded a Combat Hall Of Fame Award for "Commitment & Devotion to the Development of Martial Arts in the United Kingdom and around the World".

As Kevin was on his honeymoon at the time of the award, it was accepted on his behalf by Kamon's Administrator & Senior Instructor, Bill Bostock.

The award ceremony and dinner took place at the Aston Villa Football Club's Holte Suite, and was attended by several hundred Martial Artists from around the world.
